Sheikh Prof. Yousef Bin Abdullah Al Shubaili is a professor of Comparative Jurisprudence at the Higher Judicial Institute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expert at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), Chairman and Member of several Commercial Disputes Arbitration Committees, and Chairman and Member of several Shari'a supervisory boards in Islamic financial institutions.

Al Shubaili has published many scientific research papers on Islamic Economics including, Investment services in Islamic banks and their provisions in Islamic Jurisprudence, Capital protection in Islamic jurisprudence, The Repurchase Agreement (Repo and Reverse Repo), Shari'a supervision of Islamic Insurance Business, and others.
